I had the honor of attending the Newport Run for the Fallen today. It was heartening to see so many people turn out. The event was organized by the Newport Chamber of Commerce. I was there with Rep. Skip Rollins. Skip and his wife are a Gold Star family. Army Spc. Justin A. Rollins
Died March 5, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom in Samarra, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit during combat operations. Also killed were Staff Sgt. Justin M. Estes, Staff Sgt. Robert M. Stanley, Sgt. Andrew C. Perkins, Spc. Ryan M. Bell and Pfc. Cory C. Kosters.
