The DEA’s Prescription Drug Take Back Day event will be held next Saturday, April 22nd, between 10-2pm with participating Police Stations across the region! If you have any unused or expired prescription medications that you are looking to get rid of, do it safely by bringing them to one of the drop off locations that is listed below. These Take Back Day events help us prevent substance misuse within our community, while also ensuring that we are not contaminating our drinking water by putting medication down the drain.
Participating locations in Greater Sullivan County will include:
- Claremont CVS
- Charlestown Police Department
- Cornish Police Department
- New London Police Department
- New London Hannaford (this event has been added as a way to make drop offs more convenient for those who will be out and about shopping already!)
- Newport Shaw’s
- Sunapee Police Department
