Pavement Resurfacing on Route 11/ Route 10 in Newport 

Paving activities expected to last through September 2024.   

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin construction activities on Route 11 and Route 10 in the Town of Newport starting the week of April 15, 2024. 

This project resurfaces 1.4 miles of NH 11/NH10 in Newport.  Miscellaneous work includes upgrading guardrail, upgrading sidewalk curb ramps, and adjusting drainage structures. 

Daytime and nighttime construction work will occur for operations to complete the necessary work while limiting the amount of disruption to the traveling public.  

Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to direct and inform local traffic. Motorists are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.    

Pike Industries, Inc. is the prime contractor on this $1.3M project to be completed by September 2024.
