Men’s Coats Urgently Needed

URGENT – The United Way of Sullivan County is reporting that they do not have any men’s coats to give at the moment. If anyone has any coats that they can donate, you can bring them to either of the banks in Charlestown. If you can’t get there, call or message me and I’ll come pick them up.

The kindness of strangers

My family and I went door to door in a Charlestown neighborhood to collect donations for the Fall Mountain Food Shelf.  The response was overwhelming.  Even those who couldn’t afford to help expressed support for the cause.  People did not hesitate to open their wallets to help their neighbors.  Small towns and communities do this so well.  I’m proud to be a part of it, and thanks very much to all who helped.
