CONCORD – Governor Maggie Hassan has directed flags to half-staff on Thursday, August 7, 2014, in honor of former First Lady Catherine Gregg.

“As First Lady, Catherine Gregg admirably served the people of New Hampshire and her service never ended. Throughout her life, her commitment to the state that she loved made the Granite State a better place to live, work and raise a family. Working to preserve the culture, history and natural beauty that make New Hampshire so special, she touched countless lives in many different communities across the state, and Tom and I join Granite Staters everywhere in mourning with the Gregg family and their loved ones.”
